Sanatana Dharma College

This college is located right in Alappuzha, and it’s been a part of the landscape here for a long time. If you walk through the gates, you’ll see students hanging out near the main buildings or rushing to catch their morning lectures. It’s got that old-school feel that a lot of places in Kerala have. We have different departments spread out, and the hallways can get quite loud between classes. There's always someone looking for a library book or trying to find a teacher in the staff room. The office stays busy with admissions and all the usual student records you’d expect at a place this size. It’s not a shiny new corporate campus, but it works for the people who come here. Most of our students live nearby or travel in from the surrounding areas of Alappuzha. You’ll see them at the local tea stalls outside the gate during the afternoons. The campus has plenty of trees, which helps when the weather gets really hot and humid around here. We just go about our business, getting through the semesters and making sure the exams happen on time. There is always some repair work going on somewhere, maybe a leaky pipe or a door that needs fixing. It’s a lived-in space. People come here to get their degrees and move on with their lives. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a solid, traditional college where everyone knows the routine and follows it every single day.
