Kranti Sangemarmer Private Limited

I've been here at Kranti Sangemarmer Private Limited for a while now. We’re located right on Harmara Road, just opposite Umegha Marble in Katsura. If you know this area, you know how much stone is moving around every day. The yard is usually quite busy. Sometimes it gets really dusty when the wind picks up, but that is just part of the work. We spend most of our mornings checking the slabs and seeing what came in on the trucks overnight. It isn’t a fancy place, honestly. Just a lot of heavy marble and some old desks in the small office. My boots are usually white with stone dust by noon. People come by, look at the Sangemarmer, and we talk about sizes and cuts. There is a tea stall down the road where we get our mid-morning fix. Katsura has changed a lot, but this spot stays mostly the same. The cranes are always working nearby. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the wall. It’s hard work moving these blocks around. Usually, the phone doesn't stop ringing after lunch. We just try to keep things organized so we know where everything is. It's a simple life here on Harmara Road. We open up early and stay until the light fades. That's about it for us at the yard. We just keep moving stone and dealing with the everyday tasks.
