We are Jalori Tablewares Pvt.Ltd., and we have set up shop at F-17A in the Riico Industrial Area in Parbatpura, Ajmer. If you know Ajmer, you know the Riico area is where all the manufacturing happens. Our place is pretty typical for the neighborhood, basically a big shed with plenty of space for our production lines. We make various types of tableware, mostly for hotels and big caterers who need things that can stand up to a lot of use. The dust in Parbatpura can be a bit much sometimes, especially during the dry months, so we are always cleaning the finished pieces before they go out. It is a busy environment with people moving crates around and the sound of clinking plates everywhere. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that; the owner is usually right there on the floor checking the quality with everyone else. We have had some ups and downs over the years, but we are still here, which counts for something. The staff mostly comes from the nearby villages, and they are hard workers who know their way around the kilns and molds. We do not talk much about visions or goals. We just want to make sure that when a crate of our plates leaves the dock, nothing is broken and the quality is what it should be. It is simple, practical work that keeps us going every day in this part of Ajmer.
