Kamal & Co. is located right across from the Nagar Palika in Pushkar. It's a busy little area, and we see a lot of people passing by every single day. Pushkar is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else, and our shop is no different. We’ve been sitting in this same spot for years, watching the town change around us. The building is old, with thick walls that stay a bit cooler when the sun gets really hot outside. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things; we just open the doors and start the day. There’s usually a bit of a mess on the counters—papers, pens, maybe a cup of tea that’s gone cold. We deal with whatever the locals need. It’s not a corporate environment. If you come in, you might have to wait a minute while we finish a conversation with a neighbor. We take things as they come. Our shelves are filled with things we’ve gathered over the years, and it might take us a second to find exactly what you are looking for, but we usually get there. It’s a simple way of doing business, based on being here every day and knowing the people who walk through the door. We aren't trying to grow into a big chain; we are just happy being here in Pushkar and doing what we have always done.
