Khatri Wool Spinning Mills is located at 9 K S Talera Market, right in the middle of Mahaveer Bazar. If you’ve ever been to the bazar, you know how loud and busy it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our mill is a noisy place too, with the machines spinning wool all day long. It’s not a quiet office environment. There is always the sound of gears turning and the smell of raw wool in the air. We’ve been in the Talera Market for quite some time, and we’ve seen the market change around us. Our space is filled with spindles and big bags of wool waiting to be processed. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls because they would just get covered in lint anyway. The staff here mostly knows the machines by heart, and they can tell if something is wrong just by the sound it makes. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We spend our days managing the shifts and making sure the spinning doesn't stop. Sometimes it gets quite hot inside, especially during the summer months in the bazar. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people know us because we’ve been here at number 9 for years. We just focus on the wool and getting it out to the people who need it for their weaving. It’s honest, hard work and we just take it one day at a time.
