Jaisa Food

You can find Jaisa Food on Nasirabad Road, right in the Adarsh Nagar area. We are very close to the Adarsh Nagar Gate, so it’s hard to miss us if you’re coming into the neighborhood. Our place is where we handle all our food items. It smells like spices and grains most of the time. We have several large bags stacked against the walls. We spend our days measuring out portions and packing them for people to take home. Nasirabad Road is usually busy with cars and bikes, so there is always a bit of a buzz outside. Inside, we try to keep things as tidy as possible, though it’s hard with so much stock coming in and out. We have a small sink in the back where we wash up. The ceiling is high, which helps keep the place cool when the sun is beating down on Adarsh Nagar. We’ve got a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting because those bags are no joke. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just talk to the people who walk through the door. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us since we first opened. We write down our sales in a big green book. It’s a very manual process, but it works for us. We just focus on getting through the daily list of tasks and making sure the shop is ready for the next morning.
