Sheesh Mahal

Our place, Sheesh Mahal, is located over in Ajay Nagar, which is part of the Vaishali Nagar area here in Ajmer. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood, not right in the middle of the tourist spots but where people actually live and go about their business. The pincode is 305001 if you’re looking us up on a map. We’ve been here for a bit, just running the place day by day. It’s a straightforward restaurant where we mostly see local folks from the nearby houses or people working in the area. The building isn't anything too flashy, just a regular spot on the street. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure everything is set for the lunch crowd. Ajay Nagar can get a bit dusty and busy during the day, but that’s just Ajmer for you. We don’t have a big team or anything, just enough of us to keep the orders moving and the place tidy. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the families come in, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the basic stuff, making sure the food is out on time and the chairs are ready for whoever walks through the door. It’s a practical kind of life here. We don’t go for anything over the top. It’s just us, working at Sheesh Mahal, trying to keep things going in our corner of Vaishali Nagar without making a fuss.
