Lotus Wear Private Limited

Lotus Wear Private Limited is located near the State Bank of India. Having the bank so close is actually pretty handy for us. We make clothes. It is a lot of sewing machines and rolls of fabric sitting around. The lighting in the workroom is bright because you need to see what you are doing. We have a lot of women working here who are really good at what they do. It’s a steady pace. We aren't trying to be some high-fashion brand from a movie. We just make clothes that people actually wear. Some days are loud with the chatter and the machines running at the same time. We drink a lot of chai during our breaks. The building is just a normal brick place, nothing special to look at from the outside. We focus on getting the stitching straight and making sure the sizes are right. If a machine acts up, we usually fix it ourselves. We’ve been here for a while and the staff feels more like a big family than just employees. We know who is having a kid or whose mother is sick. That is just how a local shop works. We finish our orders, pack them up, and get them out the door. It is simple, hard work but we like it.
