Suprim Bag Emporiam

Suprim Bag Emporiam is right here in Nala Bazar. Despite the name, it’s a fairly simple shop filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of bags. We have school bags, suitcases, and those small pouches people use for coins. The smell of synthetic materials and new fabric is pretty strong when you first walk in. We spend most of our day zip-checking everything because a stuck zipper is a real headache. Nala Bazar is always a bit chaotic, so we have to keep our display inside the door frame so people can actually walk past on the street. We use a lot of hooks to hang things from the rafters to save space. Sometimes a bag falls down and we just laugh and put it back up. It’s not a polished place with bright lights and mirrors. We have a few old tube lights that flicker sometimes. My hands get a bit rough from handling the heavy canvas and the straps all day. We mostly just talk to the shoppers about what size they need and if it’ll fit on a motorbike. It’s a practical business. When the monsoon hits, we have to move everything back from the entrance so it doesn't get soaked. It’s just how we run things every day. We don't bother with anything fancy, just keeping the stock ready for whoever needs a new bag to carry their things.
