Alankar Marbles Granites

Alankar Marbles Granites is situated in the RIICO Industrial Area in Kishangarh, specifically at Phase 4, E-266. This is a very dusty part of town because of all the stone cutting going on everywhere. Our yard is filled with big slabs of marble and granite stacked up against each other. Some are white, some are grey, and some have dark veins running through them. We spend most of the day outside or under the tin shed where it’s a bit cooler. There’s a small office at the front with a wooden desk and some chairs that always have a thin layer of stone dust on them. You can hear the sound of the machines and the forklifts moving heavy loads all day long. We have a tap near the entrance where we wash the stones so people can see the real colors before they buy. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually rough from handling the edges of the slabs. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. People come here, walk through the rows of stone, and pick what they like for their houses or buildings. We talk about the price, the thickness, and how we can get it moved for them. It is a practical business and the sun is usually very hot out here in the yard. We stay busy with the loading and unloading and that is enough for us.
