Srujan Agro Organic Producer Companylimited is based out of Rashin village, in the Karjat taluka of Ahmednagar district. Our office is at house number A/P Rashin. It’s a simple place, deep in the rural part of the district. We don't have any of those modern office features you see in Pune or Mumbai. It’s just a room with some basic furniture and a lot of registers. Most of the people involved here are from the village or nearby. We spend a lot of time talking to local farmers because that’s what a producer company does. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a PR person. We just have our names on the door and our work to do. The weather in Karjat can be quite dry and hot, so the office is usually a place to catch some shade and catch up on the books. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work in Rashin gets done and the organic side of things is handled properly. It’s a plain life, but it’s honest. We don't have any big mission statements or complicated goals. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. It’s how things have always been done here in our part of Ahmednagar. We take things slow and make sure we get it right.
