Dnyansampada Agro Producer Company Limited is based in Chanegaon at house number 27. It’s a quiet place where a group of us farmers meet up to manage our business. We aren't some big city company with a lot of money to spend on advertising. We are just local people who decided that we should probably work together instead of trying to do everything on our own. Farming is tough these days, and costs for things like seeds and equipment just keep going up. At house number 27, we have a small space where we keep our records and talk about the upcoming season. We try to help each other out with things like getting better rates on fertilizers or figuring out which market is paying more for our grains. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table with some tea, trying to figure out how to make ends meet. We don't have any fancy corporate goals. Our main idea is just to make sure we can harvest our crops and sell them for enough to keep the farms running for another year. Sometimes the rain is too much and sometimes it's not enough, but that’s the life we chose. We have been in Chanegaon for a long time, so we know everyone and everyone knows us. It’s a community effort more than anything else. We just do the work and hope for a decent harvest. We put in the hours and hope the soil gives back what we put into it.
