Yogeshwar Engineering

Over at Plot 416 in Odhav G.I.D.C., things stay pretty busy at Yogeshwar Engineering. We are right across from Pioneer Engg. Co, which helps people find us since the roads can get a bit confusing around here. The shop is full of machines and the smell of cutting oil. It’s a typical engineering setup with lathes and various tools scattered around where they’re used. We’ve been in this part of Ahmedabad for quite a while now. The traffic on Road 34 is usually a mess in the mornings. We try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. The guys on the floor know their way around the metal. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy paperwork; we just focus on the jobs that come in. Sometimes the floor is a bit cluttered with scrap and half-finished parts, but we know where everything is kept. Lunch is usually a quick affair, maybe something from the local tiffin service. It’s loud in here when all the motors are running, but you get used to it after a week or two. We deal with a lot of different people from around the GIDC. Some days are slow, but most are packed with small repairs or making specific parts. It’s just honest shop work. We don’t have a big corporate team, just us and our machines doing what we do every day.
