Vasudev Engi-Tech

You can find us over at Road No. 13 in the Gidc area, right at Plot No. 506. Vasudev Engi-Tech has been operating from this workshop for a while now. It’s a noisy place because of all the machines running, but that’s the sound of work getting done. We do a lot of engineering bits and pieces here. Sometimes it's small components, other times it’s larger structural work. The floor is often covered in metal shavings and oil, which is pretty standard for a shop like ours. We have a few lathes and milling machines that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone to answer phones with a script. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and comes over to talk when a customer walks in. We spend our mornings planning out what needs to be cut or welded for the day. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes the measurements take a bit of head-scratching to get right. We just focus on finishing the jobs as they come in. The lights stay on pretty late if there’s a big project due. It’s a practical space where we focus on the metal and the tools. We’ve lived and worked in this industrial zone long enough to know most of the neighbors. It’s a straightforward operation without any unnecessary fluff or trying to look bigger than we are.
