Sumit Engineering Works is tucked inside Mahalaxmi Compound at No 20. If you are looking for us in Ahmedabad, we are right across from Torrent Power and near J. K Estate on Dudheswar Road. It’s an industrial sort of area, which is perfect for the kind of engineering work we do. We’ve got a shop full of tools and machinery that stay pretty busy throughout the week. The place isn't anything special to look at, just a solid workshop where we get things done. We deal with all sorts of mechanical parts and repairs. Sometimes we’re fixing a broken piece of equipment, and other times we’re making something from scratch. It’s greasy work, and our hands are rarely clean, but that’s part of the job. We have been here on Dudheswar Road for quite a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners around here. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Word usually gets around when someone needs a bit of engineering help. We just open up in the morning, check what needs to be finished, and get to it. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a project, probably with a machine running in the background. We just try to do a solid job for whoever walks in. It’s been our way for years now.
