Wood & Craft

We are based at C-4 in the Security Estate, which is right near the old Kashiram Mill on Narol Road. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks going by. Being at Wood & Craft, we are used to that environment. We spend our days working with different materials and making sure things are built the way they need to be. The workshop isn't a showroom, it’s a place where things actually get made. You’ll find scraps of wood and tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of a project. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate of the estate, but it’s a good spot for us. We’ve got the space we need to move the bigger pieces around without bumping into everything. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so we don't need a lot of instructions to get going in the morning. We just show up, have some tea, and start on the day's list. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of job and the Narol Road area fits that perfectly. There isn't anything fancy about our setup, just the basic tools and a roof over our heads. We prefer it that way because we can just focus on the actual work instead of worrying about how the office looks to outsiders.
