Our office for Tangent Furniture Pvt. Ltd. is in Baleshwar Avenue, which sits right opposite the Rajpath Club on S.G. Road. Bodakdev is a pretty active area, so there is always something going on outside our windows. The building is modern enough, but our specific floor has that busy, slightly cluttered vibe that comes with managing furniture logistics. We have catalogs and fabric swatches scattered across the big table in the back. It isn't a showroom where everything is perfect; it is more of the administrative side where we handle the boring bits like invoices and scheduling. The air conditioning sometimes rattles a little when it's on the highest setting, but nobody bothers to fix it since it still works. We get a lot of light because of the big windows, which is nice until the afternoon sun hits the screens. We usually eat lunch together at the main desk if things aren't too busy. S.G. Road is always loud with cars, but inside we just focus on the computer screens and the phone calls. It is a decent place to work, even if the elevator in the building is a bit slow sometimes. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working at our desks. It’s an honest day’s work in a part of town that never really seems to sleep or slow down for long.
