Our place, Tdw Furniture Pvt. Ltd., is located on Satellite Road. We are right next to Sundervan and pretty near Iscon Plaza, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are in that part of town. Satellite Road is always moving, but once you step inside our doors, things slow down a little bit. We focus on the furniture. There is usually a piece half-finished in the middle of the floor and various bits of fabric or wood off to the sides. It isn’t the neatest place you’ll ever see, but it is a real workshop where things are actually built. We don't use a lot of big words or have fancy titles here. We just know how to make chairs and tables and whatever else people need. Sometimes we sit out front for a break and watch the people going toward Iscon Plaza. The proximity to Sundervan gives us a bit of a green view, which is nice when the work gets a bit repetitive. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now, and we’ve become a part of the daily rhythm of this street. The furniture we make goes out to all sorts of homes, but it all starts right here on the shop floor. We just try to do a decent job every day and keep the machines running smooth. It’s not much more complicated than that for us at Tdw Furniture.
