Vishwakarma Engineering Works

Vishwakarma Engineering Works is tucked away behind Sukhram Nagar in Rakhial. If you are looking for us, we are near the Govt 'G' Colony, but it can be a bit tricky to find if you don't know the area. Our postal box is 5017, but most of the action happens right here in the workshop. We do a lot of heavy engineering and fabrication. The air is usually thick with the smell of welding and metal being cut. It’s a loud place, and we wear our earplugs most of the day. We’ve been in this Rajpur-Gomtipur area for a long time. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and tools, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We make parts for machines and do repairs that other places won't touch. It’s greasy, dirty work, but someone has to do it. My crew is small, but they know their way around a lathe and a welding torch. We don't have a fancy sign or a big front office. It’s just the shop floor and a small space in the back for tea. Dealing with the heat in the summer is the hardest part, especially with the furnaces going. But we keep the doors open and just get on with it. People bring us their broken gear, and we do our best to get it working again so they can get back to their own jobs.
