Vidhi Engineering Products

We are Vidhi Engineering Products, and you can find us at Plot No-96 in Pushkar Estate. It’s right opposite Mecons in Phase-1 of the G.I.D.C. in Vatva. This is a huge industrial zone, so it’s always active with trucks and laborers. Our unit is just one of many in the estate. We manufacture different engineering components. The shop floor is where everything happens. We’ve got lathes, grinding machines, and a lot of hand tools. It’s not the cleanest place, as there’s always oil on the floor and metal bits everywhere. We try to keep it as tidy as possible, but it’s hard when work is heavy. We don’t have a big fancy sign outside, just the plot number and our name. Most of our clients are other businesses in the G.I.D.C. who need parts for their own production lines. We don’t do any advertising. Word gets around if you do okay work. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start a piece over, which is frustrating but it happens to everyone. We work long hours during the week and usually take Sundays off to rest. It’s a basic operation. We have a small office upstairs for the books and a computer, but I prefer being downstairs where the action is. It’s a loud and busy environment, but we’re used to it after all these years in Vatva.
