Velson Industrial Machine Tools

Down here at Plot No C-2/A-2 in GIDC, Vatva, things move at their own pace. We are right near Chokshi Tube and across from the SBI branch, which makes it easy to tell people where to find us when they get lost in the industrial estate. Velson Industrial Machine Tools isn't a huge place with glass walls. It’s a proper workshop where you can smell the grease as soon as you step inside. We deal with tools and machines all day long. Sometimes the guys are covered in soot by lunch, but that is the nature of this trade. The heat in Vatva can get pretty bad in May, so we have these big fans that just push the warm air around while we work on the orders. It’s a lot of manual work, checking parts and making sure the tools are sharp. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, with new plots popping up and the roads getting busier with tempos and trucks. Our gate is usually open because there is always something being loaded or unloaded. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, it’s just a quick chat over a cup of tea to figure out what needs to be shipped by evening. It’s a regular life here, focusing on the metal and the machines without making a big fuss about it. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
