KHEIZER TRADING COMPANY

If you head over to Mayur Colony in Mithakhali, you’ll find us at KHEIZER TRADING COMPANY. We are up on the fourth floor, room 401, in the Aagman Complex. It’s one of those buildings where you’re always waiting a bit too long for the elevator, so some of us just take the stairs to get the blood moving. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We’ve got shelves full of ledgers and samples, and the desks are usually covered in sticky notes. Trading involves a lot of waiting on phone calls and checking prices, so there is a fair amount of sitting around and drinking tea while we wait for things to happen. Mithakhali is a busy area, so there’s always somewhere to grab a quick bite nearby when we haven't brought lunch from home. We don't have a fancy reception area or a person to greet you at the door. You just walk in and someone will look up from what they are doing. It’s a practical space. We keep the fans going all day because the sun hits the windows in the afternoon and it gets quite warm. Sometimes the neighbors in the complex come by to chat, but mostly we stay focused on our own work. It’s a steady kind of life, nothing too dramatic, just making sure the numbers add up at the end of the day and things ship out on time.
