Veer Vijay Fabricators & Engineering Works

Odhav is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the dust, but it’s where we are. Veer Vijay Fabricators & Engineering Works is located at House No 44 in Jeevan Jyoti Manjil. We are over in Block No 4, right near the Gayatri Ashram and that big water tank everyone uses for directions. If you see the Gurudwara Temple across the way, you know you’ve found us. Our workshop is filled with the smell of hot metal and the bright flashes from the welding rods. We do a lot of fabrication, mostly making things for local buildings or fixing up iron structures. It’s heavy work, and we are usually pretty tired by the time we close the doors. The Gurudwara gives a nice sense of peace to the area, even when we are making a lot of noise with our grinders and saws. We’ve been in this spot in Odhav for a while now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. There’s always a lot of movement around the water tank, so it never feels lonely or quiet. We just keep our tools sharp and our heads down to finish the tasks at hand. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just take each project as it comes and try to get the metalwork done as best we can with the equipment we have.
