You can find us at Kamal Estate, which is right across from the Samir Hotel in Vatva G.I.D.C Phase-1. Our shop is at No. 41. It is a heavy industrial area, so there is always a lot of movement. The trucks are constantly coming and going on the main road. Being in Phase-1 means we are right in the thick of things. We do precision engineering, which sounds fancy, but it really just means we spend all day measuring things and making sure the metal parts fit exactly where they are supposed to go. The heat in the estate can be something else during May, but we are used to it by now. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones, and we keep them running as long as we can. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We aren't big on talking about ourselves. We just show up, look at the blueprints, and start the lathes. If someone comes by looking for us, they usually mention the hotel across the street to make sure they are in the right place. It is a practical workshop. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you probably hear the sound of a hammer or a drill in the background. We just do the work that needs doing and go home.
