Rueley Engineering

You can find us over at Plot No. 2213 in Phase-4 of the Gidc. It is a bit of a drive to get back here, but it is a good spot for an engineering shop. We have a few lathes and some milling machines that take up most of the floor space. The metal chips get everywhere, so we are always sweeping them into piles. It is a noisy place with the sound of cutting metal and the compressor running in the background. Most of the work we do involves taking a piece of steel and turning it into something useful. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People just know we are here. Sometimes the blueprints we get are a bit messy, so we have to sit down and figure it out before we start cutting. The tea stall down the road is where we go when we need a break from the noise. It is just a handful of us working here. We have a lot of old tools that have been around since the day we opened. It is hard work on the hands and the back, but it is what we know how to do. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the parts fit like they are supposed to. There is no magic to it, just keeping the machines running.
