Dalwadi Engineering Limited

We run Dalwadi Engineering Limited over on Gheekanta Road. Our workshop is located right across from R.C. High School. It’s a noisy place, mostly because of the machines and the students across the street during recess. We have been doing engineering work here for a long time. The shop floor is always covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few heavy lathes and some welding equipment that we use every day. It’s not a fancy corporate office; it’s a place where people wear work clothes and get their hands dirty. The roof is made of tin sheets, so it gets quite loud when it rains during the monsoon season. We usually have a couple of projects going on at once, so there are blueprints spread out over the old wooden tables. Our workers are skilled guys who have learned the trade over many years. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. If there is a problem, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. Gheekanta Road is always busy, and we often have trucks parked outside waiting to pick up finished parts. We try to keep things simple and focus on the technical side of the work. It’s a steady job, and we’ve been at this same spot for as long as I can remember. Sometimes the machines act up, and we spend the whole afternoon fixing them with whatever spare parts we have in the bin.
