Creative Engineers

Our place is tucked away at Plot No. C-1/4317 in Phase-4 of the GIDC. It’s a bit of a maze back here, and if you miss the turn at the main junction, you’ll end up wandering around for ages. We’ve got a small team of engineers and technicians who basically live in their overalls. The workshop stays cluttered with scrap metal, half-finished projects, and a lot of tools that only we know where to find. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s engineering for you. We handle a lot of custom fabrication and repairs. Some days we are welding until late evening, and the sparks are the only bright thing in the shed. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains hard, so we have to move the expensive equipment to the center of the floor. We don't really do much advertising; most people just find us by word of mouth or because they saw our sign while driving to another unit. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp. The air is always thick with the smell of cutting oil and burnt metal. It’s hard work, and the deadlines can be tight when a customer needs a part fixed yesterday. We just try to stay focused on the task at hand and keep the machines running without too much trouble. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
