Vahanvati Engineers

Vahanvati Engineers is located at 95, Mahakalinagar in Amraiwadi. We are right near the Shivam Vidhyalay and across from the Ghanti Bus Stop. It’s a landmark everyone around here knows. Being an engineering shop, we are surrounded by metal, oil, and the smell of welding. It’s not a place for someone who likes to keep their clothes clean. We spend our days over lathes and grinding machines, making parts or fixing things that have broken down. The noise is constant, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes the school kids from next door come peeking in to see the sparks fly. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time. The owner is usually right there on the shop floor with the rest of us, usually with grease on his forehead. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy job titles. You just do what needs to be done that day. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. If a customer comes in with a weird request, we sit down and figure out a way to make it work. It’s a practical way of living. We don't have a big marketing budget, and we don't really need one because people in Amraiwadi know where we are. We just open the shutters every morning and get to work, same as we’ve always done.
