V. K. Engineers

V. K. Engineers is located at Plot No. I/5/A in the GIDC Estate, Phase-II, in Vatva. This is a real industrial zone, so there is always the sound of machinery and the smell of oil in the air. We have been operating here for quite a while. Our work is mostly engineering, which means we spend a lot of time on the shop floor with lathes and drills. It is not a clean environment; our hands are usually stained with grease by lunch. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning that works all the time. It is a functional space where we look at drawings and figure out how to fix broken machine parts. We are just a small team of technicians and machinists. When a customer brings in a part that has snapped, we put our heads together to see if we can repair it or if we need to make a new one from scratch. We do not do any promotional stuff or have a sales team. People around the GIDC know us because we have been here so long and we do not overcharge for the work. It is honest, physical labor and it can be tiring, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a machine start running again because of something we did. We just keep at it, one job at a time, in our little corner of Vatva.
