We’ve been here at Plot No. 81 for quite a while now. Grand Vishala Estate is a busy place, and being right on the SP Ring Road in Odhav means there’s always noise and trucks passing by. Most days, we’re just busy with the machines. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. People often miss the turn for the estate because the road is so fast, but once you get inside, it’s just row after row of workshops. We do a lot of work with filling and packing equipment here. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes, getting things sorted out for the orders that come in. Some days the power goes out for a bit, so we sit outside and wait for it to come back. You get used to the rhythm of Odhav after a few years. My desk is covered in papers and some old machine parts we don't use anymore, but I know where everything is. The guys in the back are usually loud because of the welding and the tools, so you have to shout a bit if you want to be heard. We don't really have a big team, just enough people to keep the machines running and the floor clean enough to walk through. It's just a regular workshop making things work one day at a time.
