United Publicity

You can find us over at Chinubhai Towers on the second floor. We are right on Ashram Road, directly across from the Hand Loom House. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something happening outside. United Publicity has been in this office for quite some time. The building itself is older, but it serves us well. We handle various publicity jobs, which basically means a lot of phone calls and sitting at desks. The office has big windows, so we get a lot of light, but it also gets hot in the summer. We have some old filing cabinets that have been here since day one and they squeak every time they open. It’s not a corporate environment with suits and ties; we just wear what’s comfortable and get on with it. Most days are spent talking to vendors or checking on print orders. Ashram Road is always crowded, so finding parking can be a bit of a headache for people coming to see us. We’ve grown used to the hum of the traffic. Sometimes we go downstairs for tea when things get slow. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just make sure the work gets done and everyone gets paid at the end of the month. It's a simple way to run things.
