If you look for us in Maninagar East, we’re located at Plot No. 17 in the Raj Chamber. Most locals know the area near Gor Ka Kuwa. It’s a busy part of town. The office is tucked away and it’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. We’ve got some old chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. The sunlight hits the windows directly in the afternoon, making it a bit hot, so we usually pull the curtains shut. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the week. It’s mostly just the same few of us here every day. We know the postman by name because he comes by almost every afternoon. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit to hear each other. We don't really do anything fancy here. We just show up and handle whatever comes our way. The floor is made of old tiles that have a few cracks in them. We’ve thought about fixing them, but we never seem to find the time. It’s a practical space. We keep the kettle going for tea throughout the morning. There’s always someone coming in or going out with a delivery. We’ve become a part of the local scene over the years. We just keep going, day after day, making sure things are moving as they should in our little corner of Maninagar.
