Sakar Plastic Industries

Our place, Sakar Plastic Industries, is over in the Municipal Industrial Estate in Bapunagar. We are at S/36, which is right near the SBI Bank. If you go behind the Soneria Block, you will find us easily enough. The estate is always humming with the sound of machinery and the smell of industrial work. We have been here for a good while, and the rhythm of the place is something we are all used to. Plastic work is what we do, and the floor is usually busy with whatever we are molding or cutting at the time. It is not the cleanest job in the world, and there is usually a layer of dust on everything, but we get things done. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years or other shops in the estate. The office is small and usually smells like tea and old paper. We have a few machines running most of the day, which makes it hard to hear the phone sometimes. We just take it one order at a time. The bank nearby is handy for when we need to sort out the accounts or pay the bills, and there are a few good food stalls around the corner for lunch. It is a very local, blue-collar kind of environment. We don’t try to act like we are bigger than we are. We just run our machines and keep going.
