Uma Glass & Aluminium

Our shop, Uma Glass & Aluminium, is on the ground floor of Management Enclave in Vastrapur. We are at number 28, right across from Indraprasth Bunglows and near the Hanumanji Temple. It’s a good spot because people know the temple so well. We have been here for a long time, and the place is filled with pieces of glass and metal frames everywhere you look. It’s a bit dusty, honestly, because that’s just what happens when you work with these materials all day. We don’t have any fancy sales people or a marketing plan. If someone needs glass or some aluminium work, they just walk in and talk to us. We’re usually wearing work clothes and might have some bits of metal or dust on our hands. We don't try to sound corporate because we aren't. We just know how to cut glass and fix frames. Sometimes we have a lot of orders and we're rushing around, and other times it’s quiet enough to sit outside for a bit. We’ve seen the Vastrapur area change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same unit. We just take things as they come. If a customer comes in, we give them a price and tell them when it will be ready. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for us.
