Alif Glass And Aluminium Section

Our small workshop, Alif Glass And Aluminium Section, is located over in Sarkhej on Makarba Road. We are really close to the Sarkhej Roza, which is a big landmark around here that everyone knows. Most of our days are spent cutting glass or fitting together aluminium sections for windows and doors. It is noisy work with the saws going and the metal clinking around. The shop floor is usually covered in small scraps of metal and bits of glass that we have to sweep up constantly. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a place where we do the actual work. People from the neighborhood walk in when they have a broken window pane or if they are building a small shed and need some frames. We have been in this spot for some time, and the area near Sarkhej Roza has changed quite a bit, but we just keep doing what we know. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoons, especially when we are working with the metal outside. We handle the measuring and the cutting ourselves, making sure things are the right size for whatever the customer needs. It’s not a complicated life, just steady work with our hands. We try to keep enough stock so people don’t have to wait too long for their orders. Usually, we have everything ready in a few days.
