Shree Rehi Glass Traders

Our spot is Plot No-12 in the Umasut Nagar Complex. It is right near the Vastrapur railway crossing in Vejalpur, so we spend a lot of time watching the gates go up and down. The traffic can get really backed up there, which makes deliveries a bit slow sometimes. We deal with glass, so we have to be very careful with how things are moved around the warehouse. One wrong move and something breaks. We have various sheets of glass leaning against wooden frames. The warehouse is a bit dark, but we have some big doors that let the light in when they are open. It is a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying, so we are usually pretty tired by the end of the day. The complex has other businesses too, so there is always someone walking by or a delivery scooter zipping around. We do not have any fancy showrooms. People just come in, tell us the sizes they need, and we see what we can do for them. The floor is mostly concrete and we try to keep it clear of any glass shards. In the winter, it gets quite chilly inside because of the high ceilings. We just wear extra layers and keep moving. It is a basic operation, focusing on the day’s orders and making sure the glass stays in one piece.
