Tube Techno Craft

Working out of Naroda G.I.D.C. means dealing with a lot of heat and noise every single day. Our place at Plot No. 802,A in Phase IV is right in the middle of all the industrial action. We spend our hours cutting and bending tubes, and the sound of metal hitting metal is basically the background music of our lives. It is a gritty environment, but we are used to it by now. The floor is always covered in small metal scraps and there is a thick smell of industrial oil everywhere. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just focus on the machines and making sure the dimensions are correct for whatever project is on the bench. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. That is when we catch up with the neighbors. Tube Techno Craft has been here for years, and we know our way around the equipment like the back of our hands. It isn't a clean job, and your clothes will definitely get stained if you stay too long. But we like the feeling of finishing a batch and seeing it loaded onto the truck. This part of Ahmedabad is always moving, and we are just another small part of that mechanical rhythm. We keep our heads down and do the work, making sure the orders are ready when the transport arrives.
