We've been over here at Mahalaxmi Industrial Estate near the Cadila crossing for a while now. Tochhio Hr Impregnation Plants Pvt Ltd is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours, usually dealing with the machinery and making sure everything runs like it’s supposed to. It’s a busy spot in Vatva, and if you know the area, you know how it gets with the traffic and the noise from all the neighboring units. We mostly just keep our heads down and focus on the impregnation plants. Sometimes the weather gets really hot inside the workshop, but that is just part of the job. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing next. The office is small and filled with papers and old manuals that have seen better days. We aren't really the type to spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. People usually find us because they need something specific done with their equipment, not because we have a big sign or anything. It’s No 58 on the street, tucked in between a few other sheds. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and checking the schedule for the day. Things go wrong sometimes, pipes leak or a motor acts up, and we just fix it and keep moving. That is how life is at the plant. We've seen the estate change quite a bit over the years.
