Texofab Engineers

We’ve been here at Plot No. 2801 in Phase-IV of Vatva GIDC for a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of the machines running and the guys moving metal around the shop floor. It’s hot work, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of Ahmedabad. We started Texofab Engineers because we knew how to work with our hands and there was always a need for engineering parts around here. The workshop isn’t anything fancy to look at, just a lot of tools, grease, and people who know what they’re doing. Sometimes the power cuts out or a delivery gets delayed because the roads in GIDC are busy, but we manage to get things out of the door eventually. People usually find us by asking around or just seeing the sign when they drive past the plot. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless it's an order or a bill. Most of our time is spent fixing things or making sure the lathes are set up right for the next job. It’s a bit noisy and dusty inside, and we usually have tea brought in from the stall down the road twice a day. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the parts we make fit where they are supposed to. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid every month.
