Taurus Engineering Industries

Taurus Engineering Industries is located at No. 32 in the Libra Estate. We are right behind the Vallabhanagar School in Gidhav. During the day, you can hear the kids shouting and playing during their recess, which is a nice change from the sound of the drills and grinders. The estate itself is a bit of a maze of small industrial units. Our space is filled with heavy machinery and blocks of raw material waiting to be processed. It’s a grease-and-oil kind of place. We don’t have a lot of air conditioning, so we keep the big shutters open to let the breeze in. It’s just a small crew of us working here. Most of the guys live nearby and walk to work. We spend the morning setting up the jobs and the rest of the day making sure the dimensions are right. There’s always a pile of scrap metal in the corner that needs to be cleared out. We don’t have a website or a marketing person; we just do the work that comes in from the local contracts. The office is just a small cabin partitioned off with some plywood where we keep the bills and the phone. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It’s a practical way to run things without wasting money on appearances. We keep things simple and just get the parts made.
