Tarachand Popcorn

Being at Iskon Mega City is okay, mostly because of the crowd that comes through the Himalaya Mall. We’re Tarachand Popcorn, and you can find us right on that busy 120 Feet Road. Sterling Hospital is quite close, so we see a lot of people walking back and forth between there and the mall area. It gets really crowded on the weekends, especially in the evenings when families come out to walk around. The air in here usually smells like what we're making, which I guess is better than the smell of the traffic outside. We spend a lot of time just standing behind the counter and making sure the machines are running like they should. It’s not a complicated life. We have our regulars who come by every time they go to the movies or just when they’re passing through the mall. The lights in the mall are always bright, so you kind of lose track of time until you look at your watch. We try to keep the place tidy, but it's hard when it gets busy. We just stay here and do our thing. Some of us have been working here for a good bit now, so we know the layout of the 120 Feet Road pretty well. It’s just a regular job in a busy part of the city, nothing more to it than that really. We just show up and do the work every day without making a big fuss about things.
