Our place is on the second floor of the Iscon Arcade in Navrangpura. The room number is 213. Navrangpura is one of those areas in Ahmedabad that everyone knows because it’s so central. We are near the Lal Bungalow and Parisima, which are easy landmarks if you are trying to find the building. Iscon Arcade has been around for a while, and it’s a sturdy place with a lot of different offices inside. We’ve been running Tanishka Jewels Llp from this spot and it suits us just fine. It isn’t the biggest office in the world, but there is enough room for us to sit and do our work without bumping into each other too much. The street outside can get really noisy with all the rickshaws and cars passing by, but once you are up on the second floor, it gets a bit quieter. We usually start our day pretty early before the heat gets too bad. Most of the people working in the building know each other, so we often say hello in the hallways or while waiting for the lift. We don’t go in for anything too flashy. The walls have a few calendars and some shelves for our things. It’s just a place where we handle the jewellery business and keep things moving. Being near Lal Bungalow makes it easy for people to give directions when they are coming to see us.
