Shree Ambica Engineering Works

Our workshop is over at B-6 in the Revabhai Estate. If you are coming down Sureliya Road in the CTM area, you just look for the Sitaram Way Bridge because we are right near there. It’s an old-school engineering place where things get greasy and the floors are never quite clean no matter how much we sweep. Shree Ambica Engineering Works has been sitting in this estate for quite a while now. We spend most of our mornings getting the lathes ready and checking on whatever parts were left over from the day before. The estate is usually pretty crowded with trucks and people moving crates around, so it can get a bit chaotic by lunchtime. We don't have a fancy waiting room or air conditioning in the main shop area, so we usually just grab a tea from the stall nearby when we need a break. It is honest labor and we mostly just deal with the other businesses around here or people who know where to find us through word of mouth. The noise from the way bridge is something you just get used to after a week or two of working here. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the phone ringing over the sound of the machines, but we manage to get the jobs out the door. It’s just us here doing the daily grind and making sure the metalwork is solid before it leaves the estate.
