Our office is number 37 inside the Shyam Sundar Industrial Estate, which sits right on National Highway-8 near Naroda Patia. It is a crowded area with plenty of trucks moving in and out of the estate. We handle various engineering jobs here, mostly focusing on whatever the local industries need at the moment. The workspace is a bit cramped because of all the raw materials we keep on hand. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the cuts are right. It isn’t the cleanest job, but we enjoy the process of making something solid out of raw steel. The highway outside is always roaring, which makes for a lively atmosphere. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There’s a certain routine to our days, starting with a quick sweep of the floor and checking the machines. We try to keep things simple here without any complicated processes. If someone stops by, they usually find us busy at the workbenches. We don’t have any fancy reception area, just some chairs and the sound of tools hitting metal. Most of our tools have been with us since the start. It's a practical setup for the kind of heavy work we do every day. We just keep our heads down and get through the tasks one by one.
