Sterling Lam Limited

We are located over at Sterling Lam Limited, right inside the Shree Laxmi Saw Mill premises. Being near the Odhav Approach Stand makes it easy for the trucks to find us. Odhav is a busy area, lots of timber and industrial stuff going on all day long. Since we are at the saw mill, there’s always the smell of fresh cut wood in the air. We handle laminates. It’s a lot of stacking and moving heavy sheets around the floor. The warehouse is big and can get quite dusty if we don't sweep it every day. We don’t have a separate fancy office building, just a small corner where we keep the books and the phone. It works for us. We’ve been here for a while, and the people at the saw mill are good neighbors. We help each other out when someone needs a hand with a particularly heavy load. It’s a very grounded way of working. No suits or ties here. Just work boots and practical clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We see a lot of different people coming through for wood and laminates. Some days are very loud with the saws running next door. You get used to the vibration after a while. We just keep track of our inventory and make sure the orders are ready for pickup. It’s not a complicated business, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. It's just honest work.
