Sri Umiya Engineering

Our workshop, Sri Umiya Engineering, is at number 9 in the Soudhariya Estate. We are located near Vinzol Patia, right along the Memdabad Vatva Highway Road. Being on a major highway means there is a constant drone of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not the prettiest place to look at, but it’s where the work gets done. We handle all sorts of engineering and metal fabrication tasks here. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, and there’s always a project half-finished on the bench. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a dedicated crew of us who know how to handle the machines. Most of our tools have been with us since we started, and they still do the job just fine. The heat during the summer months on the highway can be brutal, especially with the welding torches going. We just drink a lot of water and keep at it. We don't have a fancy office for meetings; if you want to talk to us, you usually have to come out to the back where the noise is. We like it that way because we can show exactly what we are working on. We’ve been in this estate for a while and have a good relationship with the other workshops nearby. We just focus on finishing the work we have for the day.
