You can find us at A/7 in the Khodiyar Estate. We’re tucked away in the lane where Mateshwari Tiles is, right off the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there’s always trucks and deliveries going on. We make signs. All kinds really. Some are for small shops and others are for bigger places along the highway. It’s just a handful of us here doing the work. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just the workshop with the benches and the tools. The highway is always busy, which is good for business I suppose. People see our location and stop in. We do a lot of measuring and cutting. My hands are usually stained with some kind of ink or glue by the time I go home. It’s okay though. I’ve been doing this for years. We get the materials in, we work on them, and then the customers pick them up. Sometimes we go out to help them put the signs up if they’re nearby. Sarkhej is a busy part of the city and being near the Gandhinagar Highway helps us get things moved around quickly. We just focus on getting the letters straight and the colors looking decent. It’s a simple business but it keeps us busy from morning until late. We like being in Khodiyar Estate as Sign Today. It feels like home now after all this time.
