We’re located in Shukan Mall on Science City Road. It’s on the first floor, unit FF-201. Being in a mall is a bit different for a CNC technology business. You have people walking by with shopping bags while we’re inside talking about spindle speeds and tool paths. Sola is a growing area, so there’s always something new being built nearby. Our office is a mix of computers and some smaller machine parts we keep for display. It’s not very big, so we have to be organized, or things just pile up. We spend a lot of time on the phone with clients or staring at screens designing parts. The mall has a good food court, so lunch is never a problem, though we usually just bring something from home. It’s a bit quieter in the mornings before the shops open, which is when we get most of our deep work done. In the evenings, it gets quite lively outside our door. We don’t have a fancy corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know a lot about machines. We help people figure out their technical problems without a lot of fuss. It’s a straightforward life. We keep the lights on late sometimes when there’s a deadline. It’s just a regular shop doing technical work in a busy part of Ahmedabad.
