Out here in Bakrol, things are a bit spread out. We are at A46 in the Swagat Industrial Park. Being in Taluka Dascroi means there is a lot of space, but it’s also a bit of a drive from the main city. The industrial park is full of big sheds and trucks moving in and out. Our place is mostly a large workshop area where the machinery stays. It gets quite hot under the tin roof during the summer months, but we have some big fans that help a little. There is always the sound of metal clicking or engines running in the background. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a partitioned section with a couple of desks and some filing cabinets that don't always close right. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil marks here and there. We spend a lot of time looking at manuals and parts lists. Lunch is usually spent together at a small table in the corner. We get visitors occasionally who are looking for specific machine parts or just want to see how the equipment works. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We wear work clothes because things get greasy pretty fast. It’s a long day sometimes, especially when a machine needs extra attention, but we just stick to the tasks we have in front of us until the sun goes down and it's time to head home.
