Shree Sharda Furniture

Shree Sharda Furniture has been sitting here opposite J.K. Estate for quite some years. We’re near the Mony Hotel and not far from the Chamunda Party Plot, so most people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a bit of a dusty business, making furniture. There is always sawdust on the floor and the smell of glue in the air. We have a few guys who have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the wood and the tools without much fuss. We make chairs, tables, and cupboards for people living nearby. It’s not a big factory. It’s just a workshop where we put things together. Sometimes we get busy when there’s a wedding at the party plot and people realize they need extra stuff for their homes. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in and ask if we can make a specific cabinet or fix an old bed. We take our time with the work. It’s better to do it right than to rush and have it break in a month. The area stays pretty busy with the hotel traffic, but inside the shop, it’s just the sound of saws and hammers. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We like being the local furniture place where you can talk directly to the person making your stuff. It keeps things simple and honest for everyone involved.
